Patti White
Patti White was raised in the military during the Cold War and worked as a probation officer for the State of Colorado before turning to academic life. Formerly a theorist of postmodern narrative, she now teaches creative writing at the University of Alabama. Her poems have appeared in Arts Indiana; Hopewell Review; RedRiverReview (e); Forklift, Ohio; Literal Latte; The Ledge; The MacGuffin; Mississippi Review; DIAGRAM; The Common Review; Nimrod; Dogwood; GSU Review; Atlanta Review; pms: poem/memoir/story; THE HEARTLANDS TODAY; River Styx; Jabberwock; PipLit (e); Iowa Review; and North American Review. In 2000 she won The MacGuffin National Poet Hunt, and, in 2001, she was awarded the Anhinga Prize for Poetry.
