P.V. (Pete) LeForge was born in Detroit but has spent most of his life in Florida.
After a fairly typical middle-class upbringing, he attended college, sold tires in an automotive
center, racked steel in a welding shop, jobbed records and tapes, edited educational materials,
and played semipro baseball. His book of stories The Principle of Interchange was published
in 1990. His collection of poems, The Secret Life of Moles, was published by
Anhinga Press in 1992. He owns a bookstore in Tallahassee, The Paperback Rack, and is working on a novel.
